Bridal Spectacular!

Wow, Bridal Spectacular is only 4 days away! We are so excited to be exhibiting at Bridal Spectacular at Cashman again this year. The excited mood at the show always brings a smile to my face and allows me to embellish my romantic side! I love seeing the happy brides- and grooms-to-be visiting each booth, trying to win some of the fantastic prizes, and booking their vendors for their big day.

If you are engaged, I hope to see you at the show! It really is THE place to be! Reflective Souls Photography will be at booth #133 and is offering some amazing show-only specials on ALL of their packages. My name is Randi (owner and main photographer) and my partner is Bethany. Come say hello! We would love to hear your proposal story, how you two met, all the romantic details! :)

We hope to see you there!

My Wedding Journey

Hello! So, I didn't keep up too well on my "wedding journey" blog. I underestimated just how much time is involved in planning a wedding! My husband and I got married on Sept. 12, 2010 in a beautiful ceremony. Everything went great, the guests had a blast, and I felt like the most blessed person in the world!

Looking back, I realized I was a bit cocky when it came to planning my own wedding. After photographing weddings for 10 years, I thought, "hey, my wedding is going to be a piece of cake!" Boy, was I wrong! It is possibly the most stressful, time-consuming, joyful, amazing experience I will every have. Thankfully, I discovered a ton of wonderful ideas and time-saving websites to help me in my journey and I cannot wait to share them with my brides!

The biggest thing I can take away from my journey in relation to my business, is that I feel so much more able to relate and communicate with my brides. I feel my own experience can help my brides-to-be better prepare for their own weddings.

Even though my wedding journey is over, the marriage journey has just begun! :)
